Introduction
Unizo Inc. (Delaware corporation, Wilmington office) operates the unizo.ai website and Unizo application. This policy covers data collection for service provision, payment processing, support requests, and product feedback. The company processes EU citizens' data despite not being EU-based.
Our Role Under GDPR
Unizo acts as a data controller for personal data we collect directly from you through our website, marketing activities, and account management.
When you use the Unizo platform to connect your tools and process data through our unified APIs, Unizo acts as a data processor on your behalf. In this capacity, our processing is governed by our Data Processing Agreement (available on request via [email protected]).
1. Application User and Site Visitor Data
Data You Provide
Users voluntarily submit names, email addresses, postal addresses, billing information, company details, and tax/VAT numbers. We do not store your card details on any of our internal resources or databases. Payment details go directly to PCI-compliant service providers.
Data Collected Automatically
Device type, IP address, browser information, operating system, referral sources, visit duration, page clickstreams, and behavioral patterns. The company uses cookies and web beacons to understand usage trends and personalize content.
reCaptcha Usage
Google's reCaptcha v2 protects sign-up, password reset, and CTA pages. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions apply to this functionality.
2. Types of Information
Personal Information
Names, phone numbers, email addresses, company details, addresses, Client IDs, User IDs, and publicly available social media data.
Navigational Information
IP addresses, geolocation, browser type, referral sources, visit length, and pages viewed.
Sensitive Information
The company does not intentionally collect health data, race/ethnicity, political opinions, religious beliefs, or financial identifiers.

Unizo uses collected data to:

- Email content in unified APIs integrations is temporarily stored and deleted upon subscription limit or user deletion
- Log retention: 45 days post-subscription expiry
Compelled Disclosure
Unizo may disclose data to public authorities (customs, tax, judicial bodies) when legally required or in the public interest, including safety protection.
4. Data Subject Rights
Users may:
- Request access to personal data
- Withdraw communication consent
- Request deletion of personal data
- Request corrections or omissions
- Opt out of direct marketing
- Object to processing or request portability
- Withdraw consent (doesn't affect prior lawful processing)

Opting Out: Click "unsubscribe" in marketing emails or email [email protected]. Transactional emails (welcome, password reset, billing, critical updates) cannot be unsubscribed from.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. 5. International Data Transfers
Unizo transfers personal data from the EU/EEA to the United States. We rely on the following mechanisms to ensure adequate protection:
- EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF): Unizo relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for transfers of personal data to the United States.
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Where DPF certification does not apply, we use EU Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses with our subprocessors.
Unizo remains liable under the DPF Principles if a third-party agent processes personal data in a manner inconsistent with those Principles, unless Unizo proves it is not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
